The 2010 Annual Ornament Mistletoe and Holly, combines two ancient traditions in to one contemporary creation. Mistletoe and holly both stay green through the winter and are natural symbols of life and rebirth at the darkest time of the year. The druids used mistletoe in their mid-winter celebrations, and in the European middle ages people decorated their doors with holly for good luck. Over the centuries mistletoe and holly have become part of the holiday tradition.

Vintage Spire 2009 Pewter Annual Ornament is the third of three pieces inspired by classic Victorian glass ornaments, with the advantage that the pewter ornaments won't break no matter how many times they get dropped over the generations.
